Announced one month ago, Acer’s new Aspire TimelineX netbooks and laptops based on the Intel Calpella platform have begun shipping in Europe. Back then we presented the 11.6-inch model named Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T which is an excellent netbook because of its performance, size, weight, and of course battery life.
Now Acer has announced its bigger brothers: Aspire TimelineX 3820T (13.3-inch), Aspire TimelineX 4820T (14-inch) and Aspire TimelineX 5820T (15.6-inch) laptops available for European market and given the success of their little brother, no doubt they will also please a lot of their buyers. The prices asked by Acer are 699 Euro, 749 Euro, and 749 Euro, respectively.
All three TimelineX models have LED-backlit displays with 1366 x 768 pixels native resolution, equipped with Intel’s Core i3, i5 or i7 processors, Intel integrated graphics or Ati Mobility Radeon HD 5650/HD 5470 switchable graphics, up to 8GB of RAM, one hard drive up to 640GB of storage, a Crystal Eye webcam and chiclet keyboard.
The Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T will be available in June 2010, expected to be priced around 549 Euro. Let’s review its specifications summary:
