ADATA brings a new military spec USB flash drive, the S007, designed for the battlefield.
The new S007 USB flash drive from ADATA is tough, just like James Bond. The S007 complies with US MIL-SPEC standards, meaning that it’s both shock-resistant and waterproof and should provide “unrivaled digital data protection from both impacts and electric shocks.”
The drive comes both in red and green, is covered in a rubber coating and you can choose from 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities. It doesn’t feature USB 3.0 speeds, but still reaches decent USB 2.0 speeds (30MB/sec on read and 8MB/sec on write). However, there is still no mention on price or availability.
