Asus Eee PC T101MT will be available in Italy starting from April. The touch-screen netbook can be converted into a compact tablet and used like any tablet. The convertible netbook tablet comes with a 10.1-inch multi-touch display and extended autonomy.
The touch-screen display offers impressive sensitivity distinguishing 256 levels of pressure and therefore an ideal candidate for hand writing. The multi-touch display allows the user to interact with more applications at the same time, making its work a lot easier while browsing, rotate, enlarge or reduce images and documents.
The Asus Eee PC T101MT convertible tablet is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, an Intel GMA 3150 graphics, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 320GB hard drive and additional 500GB on ASUS WebStorage. The T101M has a 10.1-inch capacitive touch-screen LED backlit display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and BluetoothV2.1 + EDR.
Asus Eee PC T101MT convertible is equipped with two stereo speakers, VGA-out, microphone jack, headphone jack, 3xUSB2.0 ports, and a 3-in-1 memory card slot with support for MMC, SD, and SDHC and comes with Windows 7 Home Premium operating system preinstalled.
The dimensions of Asus Eee PC T101MT are 264 x 181 x 31mm and weighs 1.3kg. Asus Eee PC T101MT convertible tablet is available in Italy in white color only for 499Euros in starting from April 2010 and on the US market for about $499 (similar with iPad price, but I’m sure that’s not actually its goal).
