Dell is a worldwide known brand for top quality products, service care and performance. When it comes to the business environment all of these characteristics are vital and no mistakes are accepted. Dell released for this segment of the market updates for the Dell Latitude E6400 and Latitude E6500 models, namely Dell Latitude E6410 and Latitude E6510, with which they resemble from the design point of view.
The display of Dell Latitude E6410 kept the same 14-inch widescreen 16:10 aspect ratio as its predecessor with 1280×800 and 1440×900 pixels resolutions. For Latitude E6510 Dell switched to a 16:9 aspect ratio 15.6-inch widescreen with 1366×768, HD+ 1600×900, and Full HD 1920×1080 pixels resolution. As any respectable business laptop Dell included on both models anti-glare panes with LED backlighting. Graphics are either integrated graphics on the processor, or a discrete solution from Nvidia NVS 3100M with 512MB dedicated memory.
Dell Latitude E6410 customers can choose from three Intel dual-core processors for this laptop: Corei5-520M, Core-540M or Core i7-620M. Dell Latitude E6510 can fit dual-core Core i5-540M or Core i7-620M, and quad-core Core i7-720QM or Core i7-820QM processors. Both laptops are built around the same chipset platform, Intel QM57 Express which accepts 1066 or 1333MHz DDR3 memory sticks summing up to 8GB. Users can choose solid state drives up to 256GB or up to 500GB 7200RPM conventional hard drives for storage.
The other components are the same as their predecessors had: Wireless-N, Gigabit Ethernet, Dell Wireless 375 Bluetooth, card reader, fingerprint reader, smartcard reader, HD webcam, a DVD burner or Blu-Ray optical drive, optional WiMAX, and Windows 7 or Vista as operating system. Dell offers a long-life battery as ’3 year life-time 9-cell Li-Ion battery’, but you can choose from any of these standard batteries: 4-cell, 6-cell, and 9-cell or even a 12-cell battery slice.
