Acer released new laptops on the Japanese market, the Gateway NV59C available in two models: the Gateway NV59C-H34E and Gateway NV59C-H54E. Both have already preinstalled Facebook, YouTube, and Flickr social networks and media.
The Gateway NV59C-H34E and Gateway NV59C-H54E are very much alike, both having a 15.6-inch WXGAG Ultrabright HD TFT display with 1366×768 pixels of resolution, Intel platform with 4GB of RAM, integrated Intel HD graphics, Intel HM55 Express chipset and a 640GB hard drive spinning at 5400rpm.
Gateway NV59C laptop is equipped with a DVD dual-layer writer, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n wireless connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, a 5-in-1 card reader, and 1.3-megapixel webcam. Other connectors are 3xUSB2.0 ports, 1xVGA port, 1xHDMI port (with HDCP support), headphone and microphone jacks.
The Gateway NV59C-H34E laptop is powered by a 2.13GHz Intel Core i3-330M processor and comes in blue and silver colors, while Gateway NV59C-H54E has a more powerful chip, the 2.26GHz Intel Core i5-430M processor which has support for Turbo Boost and is available only in silver color.
Dimensions for Gateway NV59C are 381 × 253 x 31~34 mm and weighs 2.6kg. Gateway NV59C-H34E has a starting price of 80,000 yen (around €645) and Gateway NV59C-H54E 90,000 yen (around €725). The manufacturer of the laptop said that it will be available in Japan on April 23rd.
