The tablet, the ultimate gadget and money maker machine for those companies willing to invest in this kind of devices. The recipe is quite simple: one LCD display, one touch or multitouch panel, a motherboard with a few connectors, a very low power processor, some flash memory as storage and RAM memory which isn’t too expensive these days, a decent case, and a touch/multitouch capable OS.
Chinese companies are releasing more and more tablets as time goes by, most of them are usable, but others have low specs and battery life and those are to stay away from. The Chinese company Hanvon has released its new tablet PC, called Hanvon F10 TouchPad.
The tablet is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, Intel US15W chipset, and an Intel GMA500 integrated graphics. Atom Z530 uses 2W and offers less performance than N270 (which uses 2.5W), but has support for Intel Virtualization Technology which is useful under Windows 7.
Hanvon TouchPad F10 has a 10.1-inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels and support for multitouch technology and has an additional Electromagnetic Pen as an alternative input. Check out its specifications in the list below:
