Although it brought forth plenty of cool stuff thus far in 2012 (at CES and MWC), it seems that Acer still held a few surprises up its sleeve for CeBIT as well, bringing forward an entire new notebook series, the V3. The new Acer V3 Series notebooks target mostly the multimedia segment, and offer a little something for everyone, since they will be available in 14, 15.6 and 17.3-inch versions, all models sporting an interesting look, as well as multiple color options. Acer brought a lot of interesting new products at CES 2012, including here a couple of very interesting additions to their Timeline series of notebooks, namely the Aspire Timeline Ultra family. The new Timeline Ultra series notebooks are a bit of a weird mix, since they sport a couple of features that would normally rank them as ultrabooks (such as Intel Core processors, SSDs for storage on select models, Acer’s Green Instant On technology, ultra-slim form factor, etc.), but also some other pertaining to the “classical” notebook...

Last month we saw some leaked photos of an ultra-slim Acer Aspire notebook that promised high performance and an affordable price tag. Recent leaked photos from Vietnam give us some info regarding Acer’s Aspire 3951. The laptop is very light, very thin, packs the Intel Sandy Bridge technology, therefore it ticks all the right Ultrabook features. While the info isn’t official, the pictures reveal much info about the Acer Aspire 3951.
