Redesigned MacBook Pro to look more like the MacBook Air
By now, it’s quite clear for everyone that Apple’s MacBook Air has established somewhat of a trend in the ultraportable notebooks’ segment, and it seems that Apple is willing to further bank on its success by adapting the design in order to fit the more advanced components of the MacBook Pro.
In other words, there are multiple rumors floating around the Internet, coming from various sources, seemingly indicating that the redesigned MacBook Pro (early 2012 edition, most likely) will look a lot like the Air, starting, of course,...
Apple Macbook Pro will get thinner
Another Asian insider claims the future Macbook Pro will retain some of the current Macbook Air looks. Sounds too good to be true!
When Apple introduced the newly designed Macbook Air back in October 2010 the thin laptop was called the future of all laptops. Rumor has it Apple has finished designing the 15″ version of the Macbook Air or maybe is it the Macbook Pro. Whatever Apple might call it 2012 seems to be the year of the new redesigned portable Mac.
Macotakara has a lead:
According to Asian source, Apple seems already to have finished...
Apple Macbook Pro updates
Today Apple quietly updated the Macbook Pro range with better processors, graphics and bigger hard drives. More specs available after the jump.
The Pro line of Macbook just received an update and we nearly missed it. Apple didn’t advertise it on its homepage and it didn’t added the “new” mark in the online store.
Those who were thinking of buying the 13″ Macbook Pro will be happy to find out that for $1199 customers will be able to get a slightly faster Intel Core i5 processor, clocked at 2.4 GHz and a bigger 500GB...
Updated Macbook Pro to come this month
The Macbook Pro has been updated in March and it’s time it got some new specs. There have been reported rumors regarding an imminent refresh with the latest Intel Sandy Bridge processors and some other minor spec bumps.
The Pro line of Macbooks have been a success for Apple with the new Intel Sandy Bridge processors. It’s about time they received an update and although it’s not the Ivy Bridge processors everybody’s waiting for the minor spec bump is appreciated.
Furthermore rumors claim Apple will also give the new Macbooks...
24-carat gold Macbook Pro (photos)
Feeling a bit down because your Macbook Pro looks the same as any other Macbook Pro? Feel like spending an arm and a leg on improving it? Lucky you – now you have the chance to strap some gold and diamonds on your Apple laptop.
The golden Macbook Pro exists and it comes from Computer Choppers. As you may imagine their customers don’t care about Intel Sandy Bridge processors or the fact they can upgrade to Lion via the Mac App Store. What they really care about is the outside of the damn thing. Doesn’t it look boring with all that...
Updated Macbook Pros and future plans
Apple may update the current line of Macbook Pros with the latest Intel Sandy Bridge processorsand in the future we should expect more powerfull processors even on the 13″ Macbook Pro.
It seems Apple wants to keep its Macbook Pro line fresh with the introduction of new Intel Sandy Bridge powered models. Although the information isn’t official yet, sources have claimed Apple is about to launch new Macbook Pros with minor upgrades. We aren’t expecting any major hardware updates and the last quarter should be a quiet one for Apple.
Starting...
3G Macbook Pro appears on eBay
Back in March we spotted a 3G patent issued by Apple but it seems the boys in Cupertino were working on it since 2007. More details after the jump.
As it happens with Apple prototypes up for sale on eBay, the 3G Macbook Pro 2007 has a current bid of over $11.000 and for that sort of money you get an Intel Santa Rosa powered laptop that has everything working except the 3G antenna.
However the 2.4 GHz dual-core Intel processor, the Nvidia GeForce 8600M 256MB, 1GB RAM and 320GB HDD work just fine.
The 3G antenna can work if somebody with enough hardware...
Apple launches new Macbook Air. Say goodbye to White Macbook
Finally there it is: the new Macbook Air: faster and just as thin. It brings some other nice features that we talked about so let’s recap everything.
Today Apple introduced new members in their family and we’re going to talk about nearly all of them. All of them have the latest technology inside so let’s dive in and see what’s what and if they are a good choice for you.
New Macbook Air
The new Macbook Air was the most anticipated product of them all. The first rumors appeared back in April and generally talked about the...
The new Wood Macbook Pro
Apple may ditch the unibody aluminium cases in the near future and we believe we have the solution for that: a wooden Macbook Pro that’s also cheaper than the entry level model. If you’re tired by the same grayness of the Macbook Pro’s and feel a need for a change than why not go for something more… organic. Graphic artist Stephan Ellerich even went for the cheapest MacBook Pro out there. We figured out this model is about half the price of the 13-inch Macbook Pro.
The specs are truly amazing for this price range: full touchscreen,...
Apple Macbook refresh next in line
The first Macbook that starts at $999 is the white polycarbonate one that has similar specs as the entry level Macbook Pro 13. Since the Macbook Pros have been updated it’s now time for the white model to get a well deserved refresh.
We’ve been so busy watching the Macbook Air rumors that we nearly forgot about the “notebook for everyone”. The white Macbook will receive an update pretty soon since retailers all over the world ran out of them. The last refresh was back in May 2010 so it’s nearly impossible to miss this...
