The new Macbook Pros are here
Apple released today the refreshed Macbook Pro line of laptops which include faster processors, graphics and ports. Although the design is the same we still like it.
So the day we’ve been waiting for has come*: Apple has introduced the Sandy Bridge equipped laptops. They come in all flavors, starting with the 13-inch Macbook Pro (which we already spotted since yesterday) and going on with the 15 and 17-inch models.
The best part of the bigger screen laptops is that Apple has kept the anti glare options, although you have to pay extra for it....
Macbook Pro’s specs leak
There have been rumors regarding a new refresh for the Macbook Pro line and we even had clues to that. So get ready for new Macbooks with new hardware.
First of all we should mention we are talking about the bottom line Macbook – the 13-inch model. However, the newest Macbook isn’t short of surprises and besides the usual hardware suspects we get to see a new entry. The new Macbook Air features a dual core Intel i5 processor running at 2.3 GHz with 3MB cache. 4GB of DDR3 1333MHz make sure your apps will run smoothly and look good thanks...
Rumorland claims new Macbook Pros will arrive on March 1st
We have to be very careful with Apple rumors because sometimes they’re faultless but other time it backfires. The Macbook Pro is the latest subject of debate.
About two weeks ago we’ve noticed Macbook Pro supplies were getting low so we immediately supposed Apple was about to refresh their notebook line. Another rumor gives us some information on when we’ll see that happening. In case you missed the title it’s on March 1st and what’s interesting is that today Intel is starting to ship the improved Cougar Point chips....
New Macbook Pros Are On Their Way (We Hope So)
With the new Sandy Bridge processors we wondered when would we see the guys from Cupertino do a refresh on their Macbook Pros. It looks we need wonder no more.
Steve Jobs has always told us that the Macbook Pro is the flagship in the notebook industry. Every manufacturer tries to beat it with new products and new designs. For the moment, many laptop manufacturers have built their newest products with the new Sandy Bridge processors in them. We are now expecting the same thing from Apple and it seems we could get a refresh very soon.
As MacRumor...
Apple outs new 13.3 inch MacBook Air
Besides the 11.6 inch MacBook Air we already talked about, Apple also launched a larger 13.3 inch model. The 13.3 inch MacBook Air was launched yesterday, during the “Back to the Mac” press conference.
Just like the 11.6 incher, the 13.3 inch MacBook Air uses SSD for storage, which allows for a slimmer and lighter design. Even more, the new generation of MacBooks is faster (SSD is almost twice as fast as a HDD), and more reliable.
The 13.3 inch MacBook Air features 1.86 or 2.13 GHz processor options, 128 or 256 GB SSD, nVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics,...
Apple MacBook Pro series updated with Core i5 and Core i7
The previous generation of MacBook Pro, introduced by Apple in June last year was based on Core 2 Duo processors. This updated versions are been awaited for quite some time now, but at least Apple took the time to make them right and didn’t hurried them on the market. One interesting addition is the “inertial scrolling” support for the trackpads, just like iPhone has, but something tells me that this could have been done with just a software update.
The 13-inch models remain with the same Core 2 Duo processors, but the 15 and 17-inch...
