Lenovo ThinkPad X121e launched in Europe and Japan
A small business laptop from Lenovo has just hit the European and Japanese markets. The Lenovo ThinkPad X121e offers business features in a reduced package.
The new Lenovo ThinkPad X121e comes with a lot of choices when it comes to processors. Customers will have the opportunity to equip the ThinkPad X121e with the 1GHz AMD C-50 chip, 1.6GHz AMD E-350 with the Radeon HD 6310 graphics or the 1.3GHz Intel i3-2357M dual-core CPU with the Intel HD 3000 graphics.
The size of the X121e is fairly modest for a business portable computer. At 11.6 inches...
Lenovo IdeaPad U300S announced [Computex 2011]
After the announcements of the LG P220 and the Asus UX21, Lenovo has stepped in at Computex 2011 and showed a slim portable computer – the IdeaPad U300S.
Ever since Apple launched the Macbook Air back in 2008 there has been a gap that other manufacturers didn’t bother to fill. Three years later we see every major one releasing a thin laptop: Samsung 9 Series, Asus UX21, LG P220 and now the Lenovo IdeaPad U300S.
Sadly Lenovo were too busy to actually tell us the specs but a couple of things were sure of: Intel Sandy Bridge processors...
The making of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 (Video)
Lenovo didn’t want to compromise when designing and building the ThinkPad X1. So they brought innovation, technology, power in a thin case that is light enough to carry everywhere.
Behind this pretty design you’ll find a lot of technology: Intel Sandy Bridge processors, up to 8GB of RAM, the possibility to mix SDD with HDD, a 13.3-inch HD Gorilla display, a 5.2-hour battery and a 3.73 lbs case that houses all of the above. Lenovo say they didn’t compromise anything since they put everything inside a thin chassis which you “could...

ThinkPad X220 appears on Lenovo website
Although we had no idea whether a new Thinkpad would appear it looks like Lenovo slipped the ThinkPad X220 on their website with full specs.
What’s intersting about this device is that it features some of the most juicy specs on the market. We’ve seen a trend in launching small but powerful notebooks and Lenovo makes no difference when it comes to the ThinkPad X220. First of all there is the unusual 12.5-inch 1366×768 IPS display. In terms of speed, graphics and storage there are a lot of choices but you can go to up to very good...
[CeBIT 2011] The light Lenovo IdeaPad S205
If AMD Fusion is your choice for the power under your laptop and the Sony Vaio line seems a bit expensive, Lenovo takes care of that for you with the new IdeaPad S205.
CeBIT 2011 is a busy place to be this week so we needed some answers when we first saw the Sony Vaio YB a while ago: What if customers don’t care about design and just want the hardware? We think Lenovo has mind-reading superpowers and aswered that question with the IdeaPad S205. Basically it’s a Vaio without the looks, but the good part is that these laptops are so small...
Lenovo’s new mobile desktop: the ThinkPad W520
A good desktop replacement should be as good as the finest Italian espresso: great taste in a small package. The ThinkPad W520 isn’t an Italian drink, but it does the job of a desktop computer.
Meet the mother (and father) of desktops – the ThinkPad W520. The reason for the existence of these laptops is the recent improvements in technology and an old saying: ”Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely”. If you glance over the specs you’ll immediately want one as you think how much will you get for your desktop...
The Lenovo Ideapad Y560p Is Now Available
As we see the Sandy Bridge processors take hold of the whole market, laptop manufacturers start to roll out their newest products. Lenovo does the same thing with the new Ideapad Y560p.
Lenovo Ideapad Y560p
After CES 2011 we expected a massive flood of new products packing the Intel Core Sandy Bridge units and we can now see the first drops arriving in stores. Lenovo launched two Ideapad Y560p models and these are now available for you to purchase.
Both of them come with the Intel Core i7-2630QM quad-core CPU, AMD Radeon HD 6570M 1GB video card,...
The Lenovo ThinkPad X300 Laptops will be replaced by the T400 Series
Lenovo decided to think ahead and placed its focus on the Lenovo T400 Series, launched an year ago.
By making this decision, the company is practically dropping the legendary X300 series laptops, a move which Lenovo Executive Wang Liping calls “a result of the 13″ laptop’s loss of interest in the ultraportable category”. Although the Lenovo X301 base models were supposed to be the company’s bet against Apple’s MacBook Air, it seems that it has been sorely underperforming.
And with the availability of the Lenovo T410, a more powerful...
