CES 2012 will most likely be the ultrabooks’ playground, and Korean company LG knows this only too well, since they’ve unveiled (a bit prior to the show’s official start) a brand new duo of “super” ultrabooks, namely the Z330 and Z430 models.  To be honest, we were a bit weary of LG’s “super ultrabook” moniker, but, as Slashgear reports, it seems that the company is very serious about it, claiming that the new systems offer “powerful performance and sleek design unseen in ordinary ultrabooks”. Just about everyone’s talking about ultrabooks these days, and given the very high level of interest for this particular family of ultra-portable computing systems, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that most manufacturers are trying to get a piece of this pie as quickly and effectively as possible. And, sure enough, that’s also the case with Korean company LG, who’s just announced its own take on the ultrabook segment, namely the Xnote Z330 model, that follows the already well-established ultrabook recipe pretty much... 

LG is not very far away from releasing an Ultrabook. However, since it’s powered by the future Intel Ivy Bridge processor the Shuriken Eighteen Ultrabook will arrive early next year. During the IDF (Intel Developer Forum) show LG showcased their upcoming Ultrabook. Featuring a slim profile, plastic body, large trackpad and chiclet style keyboard, the LG Shuriken Eighteen will arrive next year. While this is only a prototype, the laptop will feature a 13.3″ display and the Intel Ivy Bridge processors. We’re not sure about that... 

During Computex 2011 there was another slim laptop that showed up: LG joins the thin laptop family with a 12.5-inch portable computer dubbed as the P220. This aluminium unibody laptop is just 0.83 inches thin but has lots of goodies inside it. First of all it has a 12.5-inch screen with HD resolution which will surely be more than enough for most customers. The P220 will have a few processors to be chosen from but this one is an i5 clocked at 1.3 GHz with 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD. The Intel HD graphics will take care of most of the things you’d... 

LG joins the 3D trend and launches the 15.6 inch A520 entertainment 3D notebook packing a new Intel i7 processor and NVIDIA graphics. LG announced their new LG Xnote A510 as the first 3D laptop to offer a Full HD experience. Even if 3D laptop sales don’t go so well, manufacturers don’t give up and are looking for new ways to attract customers. Recently LG added to their lineup of netbooks and ultra-portable devices, new models to complete company’s market. We will be talking about three models: the X140, X200 and T280.
