MSI GT783 gaming laptop packing NVIDIA GTX 580M claims world’s fastest title

MSI’s GT783 is, without a doubt, one of the world’s fastest portable gaming machines to date, featuring some top-range components that manage to match many desktop systems out there, the centerpiece being, without a doubt, its GTX 580M graphics card.  The new gaming laptop from MSi is most likely set to become one of the prime contenders on this particular segment, given the fact that it  packs an extremely powerful configuration, starting with the aforementioned 2GB graphics card, the worlds’ fastest mobile GPU to date, accompanied...

MSI GT780DX available in Europe

MSI seems to really like making gaming laptops and this time we get to see the GT780DX go live in Europe with impressive specs and a solid retail price. More details after the jump! The MSI GT780DX is virtually identical with the MSI GX780 from an aesthetic point of view. Inside however there are a few upgrades worth mentioning. The 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM quad-core processor is still there but the graphics card is better: 1.5GB NVidia GeForce GTX 570M. MSI aims for maximum performance, therefore they’ve added a 120 GB SSD coupled with...

The MSI CR430 features the new AMD E-450 dual-core processor which is clocked at 1.65 GHz and it also comes with the improved AMD Radeon HD 6320 Discrete Class graphics with DirectX 11 support. This isn’t a major upgrade over the E-350 processor but the update is most welcomed. The laptop also packs DDR3 memory, up to 640GB HDD, a DVD drive, 720p webcam,...

MSI GT683DX gaming laptop

MSI has announced another gaming laptop that has the power to run the latest titles but it also manages to get itself carried around without much effort. MSI is bringing us yet another gaming laptop. After the very handsome GX780, the MSI GT683DX brings the gaming experience in a smaller package – a 15.6-inch display with Full HD resolution and the Nvidia GeForce GTX 570M with 1.5GB of RAM. The processor comes from Intel’s Sandy Bridge family: the 2.0 GHz i7-2630QM quad-core processor won’t even break a sweat at running the latest...

Check them out and the video: Let’s start with the CX480 and CX640. Despite having different looks and different display sizes they are basically the same. MSI calls F Series the “supercars of laptops” [Computex 2011]

MSI launched a few laptops at Computex 2011 but none of them caught our eyes than the FX620DX and FX420. They may be very fast and handsome but we are amused how MSI described them. Say the word “supercar” and instantly one thinks of a low body, V8 engine in the middle, 0 to 60 in a few seconds and a noise like nothing else on this planet. So we can’t find any of these features on MSI’s F Series laptops announced at Computex 2011. You may think that what MSI meant by “supercars of laptops” is great performance...

What MSI is trying to say is we don’t need big desktops to enjoy the latest game titles. They’ve just announced the GX780 and hope we’ll notice it. Well we have done that. We expected to see some really good specs so it didn’t come as a surprise to see Intel Sandy Bridge i7 processor, 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 555M, 16GB RAM, up to 1.5TB storage, a 17.3-inch display with two screen resolutions:...

MSI GX680 laptop meant for gamers

Desktop computers are good when it comes to gaming but an avid game player should be able to take his games wherever he wants to. Therefore the MSI GX680 comes in handy. It has a 15.6-inch display with customizable resolution.  The two choices are 1366×768 and 1920×1080 and those are backed up by a powerful graphics chip: the NVIDIA GeForce 555M. A gaming device should always be able to power an airplane if needed, so the GX680 comes with the Sandy Bridge i7-2630QM quad-core processor and with up to 16GB of RAM. With 1.5TB of storage...
