Samsung is really keen on making a name for itself on the notebook market, and for this reason, it keeps pushing out new and enhanced models, the latest to come out of the company’s doors being the new Series 9 ultra-thin laptops.
First unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, back in early January, the Samsung Series 9 ultra-thin laptops have just received their official South Korean launch, complete with pricing details and some addition info on their hardware specs.
The new series will include two distinct models, namely...
Samsung Ivy Bridge notebook accidentally leaked
Typically, product leaks are either accidental or well-controlled, and it seems that Korean company Samsung might have just gone through one such event, although it’s not yet exactly clear to which of the categories mentioned above it actually belongs.
So, Samsung accidentally put up the NP700G7C notebook on its US site a couple of days ago, only to pull it down quickly afterwards…but not quick enough to escape the vigil eye of Google cache.
The reason why Samsung pulled this portable system so quickly is the fact that we’re actually...
Samsung Series 7 Gamer notebook goes yellow
For many companies, painting a product in a different color and releasing it in order to keep said device in the spotlight for a while longer is a solid marketing strategy, and it seems that this is also the case with Samsung, who’s just released an all-yellow version of its Series 7 Gamer notebook.
Initially released back in the second half of 2011, the Series 7 Gamer notebook is actually quite a solid gaming oriented portable system. However, the Korean company decided to make it even more attractive, visually, and released the yellow version...

Samsung unveils two Series 5 ultrabooks
Since just about every major portable computing solutions’ manufacturer has started to roll out their own implementations of the ultrabook concept, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Samsung’s doing the exact same thing, the company releasing two new such products, for now, just on their home market of South Korea.
As the guys over at SammyHub inform us, we’re talking about a 13-inch and a 14-inch model, respectively, both of which are powered by Intel Core i5 CPUs, accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM memory and an...
Samsung Sens Series 7 – for the South Korean market only
The Samsung Sens Series 7 is a gaming portable computer that has been released on the South Korean market (for now). The big screen, powerful processor, great graphics and the cute Asian girl – they’re all in there. Too bad you don’t get the Asian girl when you buy it.
We don’t know the specs of the Asian girl but at least we know those of the Samsung Sans Series 7 laptop. First of all there is a choice between 2D and 3D models but considering the small price difference we definitely recommend going for the 3D model, mainly...

[IFA 2011] Samsung Series 9 Limited Edition
Samsung garnished the much appreciated Series 9 with some crystals and colors and announced during the IFA 2011 show in Berlin. More details after the jump.
As if Samsung Series 9 didn’t already look good, the Korean manufacturer decided to throw in some special design tweaks to make it more appealing to those looking for something good looking.
The colors of choice are Moonlight Blue and Luxury Rose Gold and to spice things a bit more Samsung “sprayed” some crystals on the metal body. Although it’s more expensive than the...
Samsung 3 Series officially introduced
Samsung continues to launch new laptops and today we see the Samsung 3 Series come to life. The newest member of the Samsung laptop line features the new AMD LLANO A Series processor. This should be interesting.

The complete name is Samsung Series 3 305V5A – a 15.6-inch laptop which has the 1.6 GHz AMD A6-3410MX “Llano” APU and two graphics cards: the integrated...
