Lenovo is refreshing its series of ultra portables with these three new models: IdeaPad U160, IdeaPad U460 and IdeaPad U460s. They come with latest technologies, but they’re designed for those keeping in touch with the latest fashion trends, not only technologies.
The “U” name is inspired by the shape of a closed book standing on a side. The top lid made of aluminum has a film with some squares design and has a U shaped border as well. The 11.6-inch IdeaPad U160 sports new Intel CULV processors and a chiclet keyboard as well as an active protection system for the hard drive, an ambient light sensor and tools for data recovery.
The 14 inch IdeaPad U460 and U460s can be configured with up to an Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology for impressive performance in a thin and light design. The IdeaPad U460 features a standard voltage processor, while the IdeaPad U460s come with Intel CULV processors for even longer battery life and lower power consumption. These thin and light laptops (less than 1 inch thin and around 1.72kg) have 14-inch displays and are very eye catching.
