MSI – another WindPad?

  • Sharebar

We’ve heard rumors that MSI is working on another tablet PC with a new design and probably new specs.

MSI aims for the tablet market for some time now. Therefore, at Computex 2010 they introduced two tablets, the MSI WindPad 100 and WindPad 110, and at IFA 2010 they gave more details regarding the Windpad 100.
Until now, none of the two models reached the consumer market.

The Windpad 100 and Windpad 110 might not even reach the consumer stage, or at least not by the end of the year. A series of photos leaked on the Internet suggest that MSI is currently working on other WindPad models and would have in mind two new designs – the first involves chromed edges, while the other simpler curved lines and USB/HDMI ports. The WindPad 100 and 110 rely on a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, but it’s possible that MSI will choose new Intel solutions to power portables the new tablets. We have to wait and see what MSI’s endgame is regarding tablets.
