Those of you who’ve had the chance of spending at least a bit of time with an ultrabook will admit to the fact that its InstantOn feature can be listed among the major selling points of this type of portable system, and it would seem that ASUS is keen on spreading this technology to its other offerings as well. Although the future of netbooks is still rather unclear right now, that’s not stopping manufacturers to push out their doors new and improved models featuring the latest hardware available to date, that also being the case with HP, who’s just introduced its HP Mini 1104 model. ASUS has presented quite a large number of new products over the past couple of weeks (including at CES 2012), and now, it seems that the Taiwan-based outfit has yet another one ready for us, namely their Eee PC R051BX netbook. For the time being, it seems that this 10.1-inch netbook has only become available on Amazon’s German branch, but since it’s available in stock there, it’s likely to hit other markets as well. Beside all of the other goodies it presented at CES 2012, South Korean behemoth Samsung also had on display an interesting addition to its Chromebook family of portable computing systems designed specifically to run Google’s Chrome operating system. Lenovo is one Intel’s most important manufacturing partners participating in Intel’s Classmate PC program, and now, the company has just unveiled the latest addition to this interesting series of educational computing systems, namely a new Classmate+ PC.
