Asus Netbook

ASUS has released specifications on two of its newest Eee PCs, with the 1001PQ and the 1015PD, described on the official product page as “pre-adolescents” netbooks. First introduced at CeBIT in March, 1001PQ features a 10.1-inch screen and includes stickers for customizing. It comes powered by a 1.66GHz Atom N450, and its 160GB or 250GB hard drive is preloaded with Windows 7 Starter. Also sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and a nine-cell, nine-hour battery. The netbook can be had in Vibrant Gold or Flame Purple and also sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1... 

After a lot of teasers, the unbelievable happened, Asus Eee PC 1215N is finally available. Asus Eee PC 1215N was expected to break the limits in multimedia performance, with its Intel Atom N500 dual core processor and Nvidia Next Generation Ion graphics. This makes it a netbook able to offer decent performance in multitasking and multimedia applications. Before considering to postpone new models of netbooks, Asus seems to still have announced one. For example, the Asus Eee PC 1005PX, appeared a few days ago on the company’s official website, available in 5 nice colors – red, pink, blue, black and white. It has a design inspired by the shape of shells, like the whole Eee PC Seashell range, being small and lightweight, with a glossy housing, fine lines and curved shapes. The main strengths of Eee PC 1005P X netbook’s are 10.1-inch matte (non-glare) display, visible in outside light... 

Asus ones are preparing for the European market new variants of their mini laptop 10.1 inches 1015P Eee PC. Asus Eee PC   1015PED and Eee PC 1015PD were spotted not only on the official website of Asus support, but also in several Italian and European retail stores. It seems that the two netbooks are equipped with Intel Atom N455 and N475, which supports DDR3 memory type. So far no official announcements have emerged from the company in terms of prices and configurations, but Asus Eee PC1015PD will most likely come with an Atom N455 at 1.66 GHz,... 

After it made its first appearance at CeBIT this year, ASUS’ Eee PC 1016P succeeded in making an appearance on FCC, which means that the netbook will be released soon. The device features a 10.1 LCD (1024 x 600 pixel resolution) a choice of Intel Atom N450, N455 or N475 processors, up to 2GB of RAM, and a 9 hour battery life (choice of 7,5 and ultra slim Wireless features include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiMAX, although today’s FCC filing only focused on WiFi and Bluetooth. You might ask, an other 12-inch Eee PC model? Yes, but a very special one today – The ASUS Eee PC 1201K. Because despite any predictions, this one comes with AMD Geode NX 1750 processor (1.4GHz, 14W power consumption), a brand new CPU for netbook market. How strange is to have this processor which has Windows XP on it? Could be a lower price, that made them make this choice, together with its compatibility with x86 and its relatively low consumption. As long as the price isn’t available, this could be just a lucky guess. ASUS Eee PC 1201K... 

Eee Keyboard is finally coming to market, as Asus officially announced its availability. The Asus Eee Keyboard PC has netbook internals and its Numpad is replaced by a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen with 800×480 pixels of resolution that can be used for sending quick emails, calendar, weather, tools and many more. Asus intended to create a home server based on the Windows XP operating system and to accomplish this company enhanced it with software add-ons. Asus is the company that introduced netbooks on the market in the first place with its Eee PC series. There were many that didn’t gave them any hopes of survival until 2010, but they’ve proved to be wrong, because netbooks are alive and kicking. Mostly because they’re cheap, have great battery life and offer reasonable performance. When the world crisis struck, they were the first choice of buyers, so they were in the right place at the right time and at the right price.
