Lenovo ThinkPad X1 business notebook review
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 is a business laptop built to last. This particular model was announced back in May 2011 and proved to be the thinnest, most powerful ThinkPad.
The laptop manages to combine in a very interesting business and multimedia technologies. The model we’ve had the chance of testing came equipped with an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM memory, an 160GB SSD from Intel for storage, as well as an Intel HD3000 graphics card.
This configuration fared pretty well during tests, but the graphics card is a bit of a draw-back, especially...

We’re pretty sure that 2012 will be known as the “year of the ultrabook”, with the phenomenon growing at a very fast rate. In fact, ever since Computex 2011, various big names in the IT industry have started rolling new ultrabooks, with quite a few new models being unveiled at the recently ended CES 2012.
Acer Aspire S3
ACER was among the first manufacturers to push an ultrabook model onto the market, its Aspire S3 being the most affordable one to be unveiled in 2011 (Lenovo, for example, released the U300S and ASUS introduced...
Asus G53SX review – gaming on Nvidia GTX 560M
What are exactly your top priorities when choosing a new laptop? I do believe that the answer is “performance first”, since most people expect their portable to run in a similar fashion to their recent desktop PC, no matter what application it’s faced with.
Another plus would probably be represented by a Full HD display, and perhaps a graphics card capable of playing the latest game titles at maxed-out details.
Well, the truth of the matter is that you can find all of these features in a single gaming portable device and no, we’re...

Review: Macbook Air 11.6 mid-2011
The smallest Macbook Air has paid us a visit for a couple of weeks and introduced us to Mac OS X Lion, the Mac App Store, an Intel Sandy Bridge processor and a sleek design. Find out how it went after the jump.
In a few words
To try and be concise about the Macbook Air we’ll have to go back in time. It was the year 2008 an Steve Jobs felt something was in the air. It turned out it was the new Macbook Air, then the world’s thinnest laptop and one of the most portable and although the specs weren’t that good Apple was once again...
Review: Asus Lamborghini VX7
Adding the name Lamborghini next to anything means adding performance to it. Asus has teamed up with the famous car manufacturer back in 2006 and since then they’ve made impressive products. The Asus Lamborghini VX7 is one of the latest models and just like the car manufacturer it features impressive looks and performance you’ll certainly love.
You have the right to ask yourself what does an Italian supercar have to do with a computer. The first can hit 200 MPH in no time while the other just sits there on your desk. Truth be told...
[Review] Panasonic CF-53
Here it is folks! Our Panasonic CF-53 review! After dropping it and splashed it well the Panasonic CF-53 proves it can do other things than withstanding shocks and humidity. Here is what we think of it!
We waited for quite some time to get our hands on a Toughbook and our wishes came true when we found on our doorstep the Panasonic CF-53. Although the Toughbook line doesn’t get refreshed too often, Panasonic always makes sure it delivers the best when it comes to sturdy laptops. We used it for a couple of weeks and found out we’d...
Lenovo ThinkPad W520 review
Back in February Lenovo announced new Thinkpads L, T and W Series. The most important upgrades were the Intel Sandy Bridge and Core vPro processors, compatible batteries, secured hard disks and the much needed fingerprint scanner. Moreover Lenovo announced improved battery life for all the above mentioned laptops.
In a few words
Out of that major product release we got the Lenovo ThinkPad W520. It’s specs can be customized in nearly every way, with prices starting at $1500 and going all the way up to $4000, but what we got was one with the...
Review: Asus N55SF
We were very happy to have the Asus N55SF for a few reasons: it’s got the latest technology, very good audio quality and one feature that separates it from the notebook crowd: the subwoofer. Of course these aren’t the only features so make sure you read the following lines.
The Asus N55SF was reavealed at Computex2011 along with its brothers – the N45SF and N75SF and we immediately were impressed by the list of features: the design, external subwoofer and the resemblance with the NX90.
It hasn’t been long and we welcomed...
Acer Iconia: the dual-screen touchbook (review)
The Acer Iconia Touchbook is the most exciting gadget to have ever come to our office and we immediately started exploring its features. We really like the looks and for once we haven’t done all the benchmarks because, let’s face it, people won’t buy the Touchbook to design 3D Star Trek space ships. If you’re curious what happens when Acer throws away the keyboard and replaces it with a giant touchscreen you might want to spend a few minutes reading about the Acer Iconia Touchbook.
At the end of June we received the Acer...
