Dell Tablet

Dell is currently working on a Windows 7-powered tablet and we only hope it’ll be good enough for Microsoft’s Windows 8. More details after the jump. Official info has appeared on Dell’s community forum regarding the upcoming Dell Latitude ST. Apparently Dell made the same mistake as Ford did with the Focus ST but no matter, it’s the features we’re looking for here. Sadly Dell we’re very hesitant in giving us the full specs. What we can figure out from the video above and the PR document presented on their forum... 

Dell will soon launch a bigger tablet than the current Streak and until now we didn’t have much information about it. Thanks to a recent leak we now get to know and see the Dell Streak Pro. Usually when some info gets public we get to find out the size of the display or the processor, maybe the internal storage. This time the Dell Streak Pro full specs have come out. Dell’s future tablet has a 10.1-inch screen, NVIDIA Tegra T20 dual core processor, 16 to 64 GB of storage and a card slot, a 2MP webcam and a 5MP rear camera, WiFi, Bluetooth,... 

Dell’s looking glass tablet, supposedly coming in November was caught on tape at the Oracle conference during Michael Dell’s presentation. As you can see, the volume rocker is placed on the top side of the tablet, right next to what could be a switch for silent mode or screen rotation lock, and the headphone jack seems to be on the left-hand side of the device. We don’t know if it will feature a PDMI port like the Dell Streak, and still don’t know what’s on the back. We caught a glimpse of something shiny but as we know the specs so far... 

If you were thrilled to get your hands on the new Android-powered Dell Streak, you might not be happy to find out that you”ll have to wait a little bit more, as it has been revealed that the device may not reach in July as originally planned, but will be released later that summer.  Dell Streak, a hybrid between a smartphone and other larger tablet PC or netbooks, made a lot of people eager to be released. O the pre-order page, the device was planned to be released yesterday, but it has since been changed to “soon”, which doesn’t sound... 

Dell is working on its own tablets, like almost every other worldwide known brand. They are the 7-inch Dell Looking Glass due to come on the market in November and the 5-inch Dell Streak 5 coming in September this year. Dell Looking Glass is running on a Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and Android 2.1 operating system, but only recently due to an information leak we found out more about Dell’s tablet.
