LG Optimus Pad LTE to launch in South Korea, rest of the world still waits

Although LG has not really managed to stay in the spotlight for too long as far as its Android tablet offerings are concerned, this doesn’t mean that it has stopped trying, the Korean behemoth unveiling the new LTE edition of its Optimus Pad Android tablet. The LG Optimus Pad LTE takes a lot after its predecessor, but also sports some upgraded components, plus the all-important LTE (Long-Term Evolution) connectivity, designed to higher Internet connectivity speeds. LG is also picking on Apple with the latest Optimus Pad ad

Motorola were the first to hit Apple in the chest with the Xoom Superbowl ad and we now find out all iPad competitors have a stone to throw at the iOS device. At first it was just a cameo appearance on MysteryGuitarMan’s Youtube channel, then we saw it in every angle and now we can see it in a commercial, Transformers Style. The ad copies the Hollywood blockbuster trailers but slightly changes the name of directors and studios. Some may see it as a parody but we think it resembles more to those Asian fake products such as the Nokir phones... 

LG G-Slate 3D shows itself to the camera

With all these improvements we struggle to keep up with the latest technologies. 2010 was the year of 3D and 2011 carries the heritage into mobile devices. The first 3D capable tablet shows up in a video and we can’t wait till march to have it. In Computex 2010, the LG’ introduced UX10, a tablet PC with Windows 7. Apparently, the South Korean manufacturer plans to bring on the market a tablet PC equipped with the Google Android operating system, sometime in the fourth quarter. Obviously, such ultra-portables are very popular and all companies are currently trying to find a place on this market. In the case of LG Electronics, the second largest producer of electronics, as profits, from South Korea, the movement to introduce an Android equipped tablet PC, is motivated by the need...
