Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich running on AMD Fusion tablet spotted at CES 2012
While everyone’s eagerly waiting for the first ARM-based devices running Windows 8 to arrive on the market, there area actually people working on x86 ports of the Android operating system, one such solution being showcased by MSI back at CES 2012.
The AMD Fusion tablet spotted within MSI’s booth is the WindPad 110W, powered by AMD the Brazos Dual Core Z01+HD6250 combo, and runs the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

We’ve heard rumors that MSI is working on another tablet PC with a new design and probably new specs.
MSI aims for the tablet market for some time now. Therefore, at Computex 2010 they introduced two tablets, the MSI WindPad 100 and WindPad 110, and at IFA 2010 they gave more details regarding the Windpad 100.
Until now, none of the two models reached the consumer market.

MSI Windpad 100 gets past prototype stage
We’re still waiting for a mass market Windows 7 tablet, but at least the MSI guys are making some progress. The first time the MSI Windpad 100 was shown at Computex and only in prototype form, but now it reached design maturity, and the company has given us some photos and information about the product.
The Windpad 100 tablet will be officially launched at IFA 2010, event that will take place between 3 and 8 September in Berlin.

MSI iPad-like Tablet with Android OS to be released later this year
Micro-Star International (MSI) has revealed its plan to release a similar iPad tablet computer later this year. Its tablet will run Google’s Android OS, have a 10-inch touch-screen display and have approximately the same starting point as Apple’s offspring.
MSI has been talking about this tablet for a month, this being the first time it declared that it would be using Google’s operating system, also designed for smart-phones as iPhone OS is.
