[IFA 2011] Toshiba AT200 is here

We’ve been waiting for this tablet for a while now and IFA 2011 has finally brought it. It’s only a matter of time before we see the Toshiba AT200 in shops but for the moment let’s look at its specs and see what’s what. Back in March the head of Toshiba Australia, Rob Wilkinson, stated the Toshiba Tablet is better than Apple’s second generation iPad. We finally get to see a Toshiba tablet so let’s find out if he is right. The first thing we noticed was the slim profile: only 0.3″ thick (a “huge”...

Toshiba Joins The Tablet World [Video]

Since everybody said 2011 would be the year of the Tablet, Toshiba thought it might be a really good idea to launch its future products website. Here comes another product which makes the decision of choosing a tablet hard. There are so many sizes and so many features one can get lost when reading all the specs. Happily, Toshiba didn’t clutter its website with much information (although we could have used a little more of it) and focused on presenting the products main features. The design is as simple as tablets can get and the current specs...

Toshiba to bring four new tablets

According to some rumors, Toshiba plans to release at least three new tablet PCs in the first quarter of 2011, two of them coming equipped with 10.1 inch displays, while the third one will feature an 11.6 inch screen. The 4th tablet will be developed by Toshiba’s communication department, meaning that we should expect it to act as a smartphone too, just like Samsung’s Galaxy Tab. For now, Toshiba only released the 10.1 inch Folio 100 tablet, in the beginning of September 2010, during IFA 2010 tradeshow. According to late rumors, the company...

Toshiba officially joined the fight for tablet PCs supremacy. Their Folio 100 was launched this September during Berlin’s electronic show, IFA 2010. The tablet is still not available on the consumer market, but the company wants to increase our enthusiasm, and I order to do that Toshiba launched a series of promotional videos that emphasize Toshiba’s Folio 100 characteristics. The...

You can find the Toshiba AC100 at IFA 2010. The little guy is Toshiba’s first smartbook and combines the Android OS with the nVIDIA’s Tegra processing power. The battery can last up to seven days in standby and offers 8 hours autonomy when the smartbook is in use. Even more, it has instant-on capabilities, the OS being launched in less than a second. Toshiba’s Android tablet said to be launching in September or October

There isn’t much news about Toshiba’s long rumored Android tablet but it looks like it will be coming this September or October.  The 10 inch tablet will run a version of Android and will be driven by a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The timing seems fair, given the fact that many of NVIDIA’s partners are planning to release Tegra 2 powered devices this fall. Again, there aren’t any real details regarding pricing and specs, but we hope that it’ll be significantly less expensive than the Toshiba Libretto W100. AKPC_IDS += "5261,";Popularity:...
