Electrowetting technology turns regular paper into e-paper
Here comes and invention that will revolutionize the world of e-paper as we know it. A team of researchers at the University of Cincinnati have found a way to use electrowetting by modifying the water repellency forces of a surface in order to move colored ink, creating a reflective display.
This technology could turn normal paper into electronic paper, without the use of glass or circuitry, creating displays that are almost as cheap as today’s printed magazines. There’s no word on availability yet, but this technology can be used for disposable...
