Tablets, they’ve just been released this year and they already got cheap, very cheap … well, some of them. How come? Even the components of the iPad cost around $280, all the rest goes to research and development (R&D) departments, both hardware and software.
In order to make a cheap tablet you need cheap components (better free, but that’s not possible), cheap manufacturing facilities and sometimes free software. What you get in the end is a tablet that can’t be compared with a better and more expensive tablet.

Airis iTab7 tablet with 3 hours of autonomy and Windows CE
Yet another “I” named tablet and another clone on the battleground of tablet market, Airis iTab7. So far “I” stands for Internet and “e” for e-reader or e-mail, so it seems. A better name would be iTap. Why? Because this is what I do on a touchscreen display device, I tap, or … in some cases double tap, well, anyway let’s get going.
Airis iTab7 tablet has a 7-inch touchscreen display with native resolution of 800×480 pixels. The processor is an ARM running at 800MHz supported by 512MB of RAM, an insufficient 2GB flash drive...
